There is a $5 charge per car to enter Sea Pines and the guard at the gate can supply maps and lists of businesses. Parking is limited and free shuttles run during busy seasons from convenient parking area.
Harbor Town is Site of Heritage Classic Golf Tournament
Each spring the PGA Heritage Classic Golf Tournament is played on the Harbor Town Links Golf Course. The event traditionally follows the Masters in April.
Visitors to the tournament have the opportunity to follow the professional golfers during the week. They are also treated to scenes unique to the Harbortown Links. As the golfers and the gallery approach the lighthouse and the 18th green, they are greeted by groups of fans watching from boats moored in the Calibogue Sound.
Harbor Town Sea Pines Entertainment
Sea Pines and Harbor Town provide activities suitable for families vacationing on Hilton Head with children, groups of golfers, or those in quest of a quiet getaway.
Another symbol of Harbor Town is the giant Liberty Oak where over three million children have gathered during the past 25 years to sing along with Gregg Russell. Children sit on the wooden stage where some of their parents sat and enjoy the music of Russell as they sing along.to his humorous lyrics.
More adult live musical entertainment is available on a seasonal basis at some Harbor Town restaurants or on their outside decks.
