Genshin Impact: Where to Find Archaic Stone Locations?

Genshin Impact is an action game published and developed by miHoYo. It was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android in 2020, on PlayStation 5 in 2021, and is set for release on Nintendo Switch. The game has an anime-style open-world environment. The game centers around two groups of magical beings in the world, Genshin, where humans, demons, and gods coexist.

The player controls one of these two groups as they fight against the other group to protect themselves and their magical powers. As the story progresses, it is revealed that the war between these groups has always been going on due to the nature of magic itself.

Players will go on quests and complete side-quests alongside their allies to advance the storyline and increase their level. Genshin Impact takes place in Teyvat, composed of the seven powerful nations of Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Nathan, and Snezhnaya; a different god rules each nation. Each nation also possesses different magic, such as fire and ice. Let’s discuss everything you should know about archaic stone locations.

Gameplay

In the world of Teyvat, all forms of magic are derived from a source called “Genshin,” which can be harnessed by humans or granted to them by gods. This source is responsible for the various natural phenomena in Teyvat, such as the formation and movement of rivers.

Each nation has a method to harness Genshin and use it for magic; Mondstadt utilizes research to discover new sources of Genshin, while Liyue utilizes magical stones for their magic. On the other hand, Inazuma uses a form of martial arts to call upon Genshin. Sumeru uses their beasts’ energies to call Genshin, while Fontaine uses an ancient language to use Genshin.

Nathan has the most varied method of using Genshin; they imbue humans with a portion of their power, granting them access to various powers. Snezhnaya does not utilize magic per se but instead creates life out of nothing and grants it magical abilities to use for its purposes. Because magic is derived from Genshin, it is doled out by each nation through a group called “Incantation,” which divides up the world into different areas where each nation can use Genshin to create their unique areas in which they can perform their magic.

The power of magic, called “Genshin,” is doled out through incantations. There are five types of incantations, each titled as a number from 1 to 5; these incantations have different effects and range from offensive to defensive. Each type of magic also has different requirements for being able to use it; for example, 1.3 requires that the character possesses a human form, and 3.2 requires that the character possess a dragon form; to use magic, the player must first learn it by completing quests and side-quests alongside their allies, aiming to increase their level until they can learn this particular chant.
